"I became acquainted with Shannon when my husband had underwent a serious surgery that apparently went terribly wrong. All I knew was that he had went into cardiac arrest and had to be placed on a ventilator. When I tried to get any information they wouldn’t give me any because we weren’t legally married, even though I had been with him 28 years and I had been his contact.
